1.1 Break-Fix Support

  • Troubleshoot and repair faulty servers, storage devices, networking hardware, and power systems.

  • Identify and resolve connectivity issues, IP conflicts, and configuration errors.
  • Respond to system alarms, LED indicators, and monitoring alerts to minimize downtime.

1.3 Remote Hands & Smart Hands Services

  • Execute tasks under the direction of Pivotal’s remote IT team including:
    • Power cycling equipment
    • Cabling and patching
    • Swapping components
    • Providing visual inspection or serial number verification
  • Support installation and relocation of equipment in coordination with Pivotal’s internal teams.

1.4 Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain detailed service logs and incident reports for each support task.
  • Provide post-service documentation including photos, serial numbers, and work summaries.
  • Report recurring issues or hardware failures to help inform proactive maintenance strategies.
